LIVING WATER – EPISODE 655 || 21ST MARCH, 2026

GOD IS WATCHING THE EARTH

 Scripture Reading: Zechariah 1:8–11

“During the night I had a vision, and there before me was a man mounted on a red horse. He was standing among the myrtle trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown and white horses. I asked, “What are these, my lord?”

The angel who was talking with me answered, “I will show you what they are.”

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained, “They are the ones the Lord has sent to go throughout the earth.”

And they reported to the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees, “We have gone throughout the earth and found the whole world at rest and in peace.”

 God Reveals Hidden Realities to His People: In this night vision, the prophet sees a man on a red horse standing among myrtle trees in a ravine, with other horses behind him. Though the scene appears mysterious, it shows that God unveils spiritual truths to those who seek Him. What happens in the spirit often explains what we see in the natural, reminding us that God is always at work even when we do not immediately understand His ways.

 God Has Agents Moving Throughout the Earth: The explanation given is that these horses are sent by the Lord to go throughout the earth. This reveals that God actively deploys His agents to observe and carry out His will, showing that the earth is not operating randomly but under divine supervision, where every movement and condition is seen and reported back to heaven.

God Is Fully Aware of the State of the World: The report comes back that the whole world is at rest and in peace. This demonstrates that God has complete knowledge of global conditions, and even when things appear calm on the surface, He understands the deeper reality and is never ignorant of what is happening anywhere on the earth.

 God’s Timing Is Different from Human Perception:T hough the report says there is peace, it does not mean that God’s purposes are complete. What seems like stillness to humans may simply be a pause before divine action. This teaches us that God works according to His perfect timing, not according to human expectations, and His plans are always for the ultimate good.

God Calls Us to Trust His Sovereign Control: This vision ultimately reassures us that God is watching, governing, and preparing to act. We must trust Him even when we do not see immediate change, knowing that He is in control of both our personal lives and the affairs of the world, and that nothing escapes His authority.

Call to Action: Take a moment today to reflect on the areas of your life where you feel uncertainty, fear, or impatience. Choose to trust God’s sovereign control and His timing. Walk in faith, knowing that He sees your situation, is at work behind the scenes, and will act according to His perfect will. Be attentive to His guidance and obedient to His Word, even when you cannot see the full picture.

Prayer: Lord Almighty, we thank You for reminding us that You are always watching over the earth and over our lives. Help us to trust Your timing, to obey Your Word, and to remain faithful even in seasons of uncertainty. Give us eyes to see Your work in the unseen and hearts that rest in Your sovereign control. Strengthen our faith, and guide us to walk in Your ways all the days of our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
